What are Oriental massages?
With Oriental massages you use techniques that have an older history from traditional Chinese medicine. It works on energetic body blockages and pressure points linked to the meridians. Our energy channels are connected to each other and ensure the flow in the body. The massage techniques may differ from China, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.
Oriental massages are based on a holistic view. In which we assume that everything is a whole and connected: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
What is the difference between an Eastern and Western massage?
Both types of massage use different techniques. They also call a Western classical massage a "Swedish massage". During this massage they mainly use stroking and kneading techniques. Good for relaxation, blood circulation, waste products, etc.
