COPS in Ibiza have given an update on Wayne Lineker after he was left unconscious for six minutes in an Ibiza attack.
The beach club owner, 62, was floored by another man as he tried to protect a female pal on a night out in San Antonio.
A man thought to be a pal of the yob who knocked him out with his left fist was filmed starting a WWE-style count as Gary Lineker’s brother lay unconscious.
But Spanish cops said on Thursday that Wayne Lineker has yet to press charges over the nightclub assault.
Officers added they had attended the scene but confirmed the assault victim had already left by the time they arrived.
Local police sources, whose officers are employed by San Antonio Town Hall, said: “We went to the scene but the assault victim was no longer there.

The Civil Guard, the other police force covering San Antonio, said earlier today they didn’t have a record of the incident.
Wayne, one of the owners of the O Club Ibiza, thanked fans today in an Instagram post saying it "could have been much worse".
He counted himself very fortunate as his head would have hit a wall had he been standing further back when he was hit.

Posing with a few stitches under his lip and sunglasses, he said: “I wanted to write this post to let everyone know that I’m doing ok… I have a few stitches and a swollen lip.
"It could have been much worse so I count myself very fortunate I wasn’t standing 2 yards further back, as my head would have impacted the wall.

"Obviously the video is very disturbing to see especially for my family.
"The papers were very accurate and it was a simple case of me just trying to protect a girl from being harassed.

Wayne collapsed after being hit once by the thug at 4am inIbizaon Wednesday.

Wayne then flops to the ground and onlookers said he was out cold for at least six minutes - and that he had blood pouring from his mouth.
A large group of at least 10 people, including Wayne, can be seen in the clip all shouting over each other.
Wayne eventually left in a taxi around an hour after the punch was thrown.
Party-loving Wayne is well-known for hosting celebs including footie aceJack Grealishat his beach club.
He has a strained relationship with formerEnglandstrikerandMatch of the Dayhost Gary, 63.
Speaking about their relationship earlier this year, he said: "It's not so good to be honest, we don't really speak very often. I'll always be his number one fan."
He is the black sheep of the Lineker family and has virtually no relationship with Gary.
