    As a full-time working mother of three, I was honored to lead the enablement for the Enterprise and Emerging Customer Success Summit. Our mission? To foster collaboration with the sales team and elevate our customers' experiences. For a month, I partnered closely with CS team members and leaders, meticulously planning this pivotal event. The intense week leading up to it had me working 12-hour days, combing through every detail.On July 21st, I woke up at 4 am for my 6 am flight, only to discover it was canceled due to an internet outage. Undeterred, I embarked on a 12-hour drive from North Carolina to Florida. Gas stations and restaurants couldn't take credit cards, so I kept moving. Upon arrival, Susan, a CS colleague, greeted me with a warm hug, reinforcing the event's importance. Despite subsequent travel delays and cancellations, we persevered.Fate threw another curveball: our CEO's flight was canceled, preventing his in-person attendance. We tried to conference him in remotely, but technical gremlins prevailed—the only sound we got was through laptop speakers. In a pinch, I held a lapel mic so the back of the room could hear. Just when I thought things couldn't get more intense, my laptop decided to call it quits. Thankfully, IT had a replacement for me before I left.I'm immensely thankful for the CS team's unwavering support. When you think of the ideal personality for excelling in the Customer Success role, having a problem-solving, empathetic attitude makes all the difference.     I had the privilege of joining our Dayforce partners at the Customer Success Engagement Summit in Charleston. The energy was high as we gathered to discuss how we can collaborate better to effectively empower our clients as they optimize their current processes. It's inspiring to connect with our partners that have embraced our cutting-edge technology and created companies around it. From payroll, HCM, HR, benefits, to talent, Dayforce delivers simplicity at scale, all in one place. Let's continue to build bridges, foster collaboration, and drive success together! Personal note: Only a 4 hour drive from Raleigh, I needed to use the time to make work calls so my Dad offered to drive me. This trip marked the first time in his 73 years that he traveled on someone else's work trip.     I’m excited to launch Gong for our Customer Success team! The ability to listen and interact with customers without having to take copious notes is a dream. Really love the ability to share calls with customers and give them the ability to jump around based on keywords. Last but certainly not least, all the discussion during the sales process that a customer typically has to repeat over and over again, now we can easily share with CS team so we start building on the promises we made and adding the value realization!     I spent the weekend hiking with my family in Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. What I learned was there is nothing more important to me then experiencing life with the ones I love. The time we spend with our loved ones will give them a lifetime of core memories. My work life is important, my work is important, but it will never surmount the importance of family time. ♥️
